Our Favorite Innova Quilt Machine Features

Our staff members at Accomplish Quilting put their heads together to come up with their absolute favorite features about Innova quilting machines --- and there were many.
We thought we would share a few of them here...

The Innova Electric Lift System’s main function is to adjust the height of the machine, making it ideal for users of varying stature in the same work area.  The system is managed by controls mounted on the Pro-Frame.  With a quick touch of a button, the lift can go up to 10 inches of even elevation, from its lowest position.  This is a 100% mess free system, to eliminate the worries of a dirty workspace. 
What I love the most about the INNOVA Electric Lift System is that I can alternate between standing and sitting thanks to this addition, making it easier to Thread Paint efficiently, to do ruler work, and even micro-quilting.  The handles on the front of the machine are slightly different in height from the handles on the back of the machine, so having this lift system allows me to adjust to that perfect position while doing pantograph work.  Also, the ability to fluctuate between sitting and standing relieves the dreaded BACK FATIGUE.  Another purpose is that it can be adjusted to accommodate family, friends, and renters to use the machine for their varying heights.  Finally, raising the INNOVA Electric Lift System allows you to vacuum out those pesky threads and dust bunnies you normally couldn’t reach.

​Hi! I’m Julie and I love using new and amazing inventions that INNOVA creates! One of - my favorites is Grand Format Embroidery and Applique. Just the words “hoopless machine embroidery” blow me away. No rehooping. Seriously. No. Rehooping. I can easily create embroidery patterns from every quilting pattern I own. And the quality of the stitches is amazing.  Grand Format E&A changes the INNOVA AutoPilot into an entirely different machine! The Lightning Stitch™ is a revolutionary feature of the Innova Longarm. Innova is the only longarm in the industry that uses a digital servo motor to control the movement of the needle. This servo motor is one full horse power. The digital nature of the servo eliminates any delay in the electrical signal telling the needle to stitch. It is instantaneous. This means that you, the quilter, get perfect stitches of EXACTLY the same length no mater how fast you take points or start and stop the machine. This also means the needle will only respond to your movement; when you stop the needle stops. You won't have any knots or stray stitches when you pause to plan your next move. The benefit is especially evident when doing ruler work or small free motion designs. The full horse power motor means you can quite literally sew through any material you put on your frame: leather, Kevlar, denim, canvas or, more likely as a quilter, bulky seams. Your Innova will never hesitate to sew through thick, tough seams or materials. Most longarms are 1/3rd – 1/5th horse power analog motor, so the Innova is not only more responsive but also quite a bit more powerful. The significant increase in strength gives the machine a safety factor of 5. The Innova is 5 times stronger than it needs to be, so that whatever you throw at it (on purpose or by mistake, like hitting a ruler or scissors) won’t be an issue.

One of my favorite highlights of the Innova machine is the quick ability of the Innova machine to change from computerized quilting to hand guided quilting.  With 3 snaps of the belt release clamps a quilter can switch from using computerized quilting to the hand guided or reverse.  When the belts that are used for computerized quilting are disengaged they are tucked into the motor compartments and offer no hindrance to your free motion quilting.  No tools or strain necessary with the quick release clamps.

Having owned two different machines before my Innova, I was very familiar with different brand features and benefits. With the Innova machine, every feature benefits me in some way, and makes my quilting easier than it had been with other brands.
One of my favorite features is the dead bar in the back of the bed. I love that it enables my stitch quality to be consistent throughout the entire quilt --- I never have to stop and raise or lower the back bar. The quilt sandwich is always the same distance from the needle plate, ensuring that my stitches look great row after row after row.
